PS4 UI too small, can't figure out chat box

Does anyone know how to make the text/ui bigger? I did hud layout and yes, i fixed some things, however, like the option menu is so tiny it hurts my eyes trying to read the text (this also includes like subtitle text, quests and so forth).

Also, how do you make the chat box bigger? I understand the touch pad to use the mouse, however, i don't know how to actually select anything with it. Basically, i need to boost mostly everything bigger. I can barely see what I'm doing.

In Character Configuration -> Log Window Settings there's a font size drop down. You can resize it by using the top right corner.

This only affects the chat log, not NPC dialog boxes by the way. Those are currently fixed in size if that's what you mean. Add your voice to the several threads already in feedback if this is the case.

You can increase the size of font in other menus that aren't in the HUD layout in the same way as during HUD layout. Ctrl-Home on a keyboard will cycle through the sizes for the window that has focus, whether in or out of HUD layout mode. I'm not sure if there's a controller equivalent. This will work for your option menu for example.

I figured out how. L1 + Right stick opens up like a mouse mode. L1 is left click, just drag the chat box. The controls for this are .... interesting and the small text gives me a major headache.

Nice. I've never played with the mouse thing on PS3, wonder if you can move the chat box.

turn on the virtual mouse option to use the touch pad as a mouse, its in the gamepad menu
