Problems with low FPS

Hey,

i just joined the game and really enjoy it. The only thing that annoys me is the fact, that i get frame drops every now and then.

For example in Gridania at the markets they drop down to 30 or even below. But the same time my GPU usage is only at 50%.

I own a GTX 770, an i7 920 @3,6 GHz and 12 GB of RAM.

i already tried to install on win 8.1 which is on an extra SSD because that helped a lot for Battlefield 4, but i still have the same problem. Outside the city, i have about 60 FPS with some drops to 40ish here and there.

But with the hardware i have, i'd expect a constant 60+ FPS :-/

Any advices on that?

Going to have to lower your expectations there. I have a similar set up, GTX 770, i5-4570, 16GB RAM, SSD, etc. 60fps usually, but crowded areas will always give you less than 60fps. Markets, for sure. Just wait until you get to Revenant's Toll.

Like I said, though, the majority of the game runs at 60+fps, it's just these areas it happens. Nothing you can do about it, that's just how the game is.
