Random crashes while playing

Like the title say, I'm getting random crashes, I've searched for solutions but nothing works:
-Update Video drivers
-Reinstall the game
-Play with low settings

If anyone can help please, I don't know what to do

Having a similar were my pc would instantly shut off whenever i would run an instant and it would always happen at random. The only way i fixed or at least has worked thus far is uninstall the game delete every ffxiv file then re-install the game.
Tell me this dose this happen with any other games? Or is it only with ffxiv.

mileage may vary... depends on a lot of factors. When you are so reliant on data transmission across hundres/thousands of miles across differing technologies from wireless/satellite to copper to fiber-optic to get across land, sea, and possible to outer space and back.... there a lots of opportunities for your data to become corrupted before your system even tries to write it to your hard drive. And then even though it made the trip intact, it can become corrupted during the writing phase.

I had to delete, download, and reinstall Left Behind 4 times before it finally installed clean last weekend. A 5GB download to the PS3 each time. Took longer to download/install the @#$#@$ thing than it took my 16 yr. old daughter to finish the expansion.

Ever since the most recent patch I have been getting random huge lag spikes, mostly in instances for dungeons...screen frame freezes, then it might 'fast forward' and catch up or I randomly disconnect. Then the issues of last night, as we ported into Coil for raid.......

I've been having my PC shut off after about an hour or two, and its really annoying. =
