So one person feeling that their personal situation is somehow of more importance to the intrinsic game design than every other player isn't rude, but pointing out the arrogance of that view is? Okay, I'll gladly be rude.

All she was saying is her plate is full and leveling up is not all ways easy for her so she thinks the event be best for all and? that's her opinion on the forms we can have that right? a opinion? most ppl saw her post and told her ways to level up i'm not saying everyone has to be nice about everything but to say {If you think anyone cares what your situation is, when it comes to an event with a static set of parameters,} is that not rude. I care i all ways try to help ppl if i can and if you don't care then why post anything?
Okay, so not being altruistic is being rude... gotcha. Look, you can equivocate as much as you like, but the fact is that these boards are constantly full of threads by people complaining that the intrinsic design of the game is too hard for them (as an individual). The overall theme, being that the developers need to alter their game because it isn't easy enough for those individuals to breeze through, is just completely arrogant and self-centered.
Before anyone comes back and tries to accuse me of the same, yes I clear top-tier content in whatever I'm playing, and yes my only interest is in playing a game that has challenging content. What I don't care about is complaining for SE to change their game design to cater to me. I don't care if they do actually change anything in their design to make the game less challenging or accessible. If that happens, I'll just go find something else that fits my style, and SE staff won't give two $#@!s about it; I wouldn't expect them to either.
One player is not the center of an MMO universe, and SE has a far greater number of players--most of which have absolutely no problems with their place in the overall game design--to consider than you. Get over it.

Right, maybe asking to lower the level of the quests is rude to the high level players and people who designed that content. But what about the small request of having this event come back next year, or the year after, and the year after that? Who would it hurt? No one. At most, it will make those who made it to the event feel "less special", but there's already plenty of exclusive items from early-access, 1.0, legacy or beta testing to show off. My low level friends aren't asking for any of those things, but they would just love if this event was to return in another year, when they will likely be lv45 or above. I don't think anyone is in the right to tell them "get over it" for hoping to have a chance themselves.
Congratulations, you managed to completely miss the point, and agree with me simultaneously.
