Or maybe he started playing less time ago... For example, on his "Join Date"; Feb 2014. Lvl 1 to lvl 34 in 18 days seems ok for a casual player.


Anyway, TheRogue, nothing will be done. If you have much time on weekend you can still do it. lvl 34 to 45 shoud take no more than 15-20 hours, but I understand that is quite a lot.

But if we were to take that rule in to account we woud never have high level events. Or the woud have to last for months... I don't know, I don't see a great problem with no being able to take them.

the same event happened months ago. people have had since then to level up. and there was another thread just like this back then too. also, if you can't get 1-45 in the time of the event then idk what you are doing to level cuz it's really not that time consuming.

I missed the last event. Was far too busy working and being a parent and spending time with my SO. I had a little bit of time to try to squeeze in some extra gaming time time around, but I still have to work and be a parent.

Apparently everyone expects that MMO players are single, jobless, and with nothing else to do but play?

Well, it seems you're quite aware that you won't be able to obtain everything in the game then.

It's blunt, it's harsh, and I'm sorry to say it but the only way for you to get the last piece of gear is to use this weekend to hit 45. With the proper guide (some players in this thread are trying to assist in that regard) it is entirely possible.

Unlike most events, this event came around for the 2nd time. I understand you were busy the first time around, and such things do happen. Ultimately, these things boil down to your choices and your choices alone.

I can understand were you are coming from when you have a full plate it's hard to game like crazy best of luck^^

Problem is, this is so far the only event that has level-gated rewards. I could understand if the entire event was geared around higher-level players, but the gear is level 13.

If they were going to level-gate it, the entire event should have been for level 45+ from the start. As it is, it's obvious that this event was, both times, intended for people who already had a job at or near level 45; the gear was intended for additional classes/jobs, not the first.

As for 'using this weekend to hit 45,' there's no chance. My weekend was far too busy for me to be able to play.

I'm perfectly aware that I probably won't ever have end-game gear because I don't have the time to devote to constant dungeon running to get it. I completely understand that. This, however, was a special event. Those should be 100% all-inclusive, imho.
