Lightning Returns Rewards

If you don't have the time to put in to claim the rewards, then that's just the way it is. It is odd that this quest in particuler is set up in four parts that require you to be progressively higher level to complete (the only event I've seen/heard about that does this), but at the same time that's the way it was designed.

Perhaps SE didn't really feel like the "end boss" was something a brand new adventurer (lvl 13) could handle in the lore. Maybe they felt like that would be cheapening Lightning's strength as a character. It was the design decision they made unfortunately and you just have to deal. In all honesty, what have you lost? A chestpiece that you will likely never, ever wear outside of 5 seconds after obtaining it. Even with the vanity system, do you really want your character to just wear an obviously out of place garment of a character from another game?

I think I would have been more upset by the fact that I would have never gotten to see the final cutscene with Lightning, as that (to me) was a lot cooler than the gear rewards. However, you see to be solely focused on the fact that you are missing out on a vanity chestpiece.

Considering those FATEs can be completed blindfolded and drunk off your ass... It really wouldn't make a difference whether or not the monster was level 15 or level 45.

I agree that SE really should have made the quests doable at 15. If they are so determined to have this level gate-out non-sense, then at the very least, allow us to buy these seasonal items on the last day so we don't have to kill ourselves leveling up an alt for the other gender's clothes. Maybe something like 10k per item. I non-stop leveled my alt and still didn't make it in time (I made her not long before the 2nd Lightning event). I'm just feeling burnt out and don't feel like logging in anymore.

I seriously hope we can get another event for this, I want to get it for my other character in another server and I can't even hit 40s yet, it'll take me another 15-20 hours.

I hope they can extend this event or have another lightning returns event some time in the Spring...

Leveling is fast enough as it is, it doesn't need any more nerfs. Also the same event happened months ago.

We need a way to get all the event rewards without having to get to level 45. Some of us just don't have the time to put into it. I've been playing as much as I can since the 4th and my main character is only level 35. There's no way I'll get to 45 before Monday.

I've been up for the last 38 hours trying to get to level 45 so I can turn in the last of the parcels, which I already got a few levels ago from outside of Revenant's Toll. I've only barely made it into 44 and there's only 20 minutes left in the event...
I've tried so hard dammit!
And no this character did not exist before christmas. I only started it a few weeks ago and did not even know about the Lightning costume until a few days ago.
Can't you leave the quest giver in Gridania for a few days so people might be able to still turn in the last two parcels if they haven't been able to yet?

I put in soo much work these last few days to get the quest done and I missed the deadline by an hour.. mistakenly thinking I had until 6:59 PM and not AM.

Very disappointed. I hopei t comes back soon.. Perhaps for PS4 players?

The reason behind the current event is because of the release to outside nations in Europe. If they can do it for something like that then surely they can do it for the PS4 players too, no?
