What happens is, when you fail, in your journal it will have a red "x" to note the failure. On your next leve reset, upon talking to any leve issuer, that failed leve will be AUTO-renewed (it auto-renews even before choosing new leves). If you exit out and look in your journal, you will notice the red x is gone and it will be "open" for you to redo. Now you can go back and redo-it, same reward as before.

Then you can now go back and choose your new leves, so effectively, you will be doing 9 leves on this cycle (so if you failed all 8 leves last cycle, you can do 16 leves total on the next cycle if you choose to do so). If you decide to select new leves before redoing your failed leve, be sure not to trade that leve for a new one.

I haven't done it after the 1.16 patch, but guessing it still works this way.
This is correct. You can effectively do the 8 + 8 leaves as metioned further up. Fail your 8 leves, talk to the adventurers guild people, re-do all the failed leves, then go exchange them all for new ones which you can then fail if you so please.

However, I would still like to see this fixed. It MUST be fixed before they introduce instanced quests. The simple solution would be to not remove the character from the leve until the leve timer reaches 00:00 regardless of their online status. This also needs to be done in conjunction with being able to log on while your character is still in game.

I would like to see it altered to as follows:
Following a crash or disconnect the character does not leave the game while still participating in a leve/instance/party combat.
Upon logging back in you are presented with something like the following message:
"Your character is currently in the game world. Continue participation in leve/instance/party combat? Y/N"
You can then log in and take over control of your character wherever it is (be it dead or not) and continue with what you were doing, or be outwith the instance/leve/party.

I have not had a random game crash since patch 1.15a in February, even when checking my LS lists, which many people have claimed crashes the game "50% of the time".

I could be an anomaly, though. But then a person who knows how their computer works and knows how to take care of it would be an anomaly these days. ^_^

Since the patches crashes don't happen as often as they did, but they still happen at the most unopportune times...

Letting the leve clock continue to run so we at least have a chance to log back in and finish would be nice!

There is no reason why when doing leve's in a party and you D/C you should not be able to rejoin the leve once you log back in and still get the same SP/EXP per mob. As it is now when you D/C you join back and have lost all the link's, your GA and everything. This happened to me on Dunesfolk a few days ago after the first set of Mongrels, I went from getting 1238 SP to getting around 200 SP a kill. That is ridiculous the system knows how many people linked the leve as everyone else still gets the same SP so why can't it remember you when you rejoin the leve?
