To Yoshi-P and staff: while things may be rough, nonetheless, thank you.

To be honest, I logged on here today with the intentions of writing yet another complaint amongst thousands...yet here I am, thanking you. Why? An old saying comes to mind, "You catch more flies with honey than vinegar". Granted, you are not flies, yet the same concept applies. Rarely do we think what impact our words may have on others, and though I doubt you all browse there forums extensively, I'd imagine seeing a wall of complaints and scathing comments about something you've given your career to inspires confidence.
So, with that out of the way, let me list the reasons why I thank you. First: while this game may have it's flaws, it is nonetheless a wonderful game, one in which I can get together with friends and do whatever we wish in a lush environment with beautiful music. Second: your drive. While this is my opinion alone, I cannot fathom trying to continue producing updates for a game when the forums for said game are full of hateful (though sometimes prudent) comments and complaints. The fact that you continue to do so is a indication of your character in and of itself. Third: your recognition of and loyalty to those who stuck with you. There are many of us who remember the nightmarish flop that FFXIV originally was, yet I also remember a long period of time (1 1/2 years?) during which subscription was completely free, and yet patches still came, making the game better even though it was going to flop anyways. I could think of more, but needless to say, thank you.
...Well there it is. Not what I expected to post when I logged on here, but there it is. Make of it what you will, call me a white-knight if you must (though my previous posts say differently), but I figured this needed to get out.

I know this might be a stretch, but if possible let's make this a "thank you" thread. Now, please, only do so if you truly feel this way. I did because, while they may have made mistakes, Yoshi-P and staff are in fact human and need a bit of encouragement every now and then. At the very least, they're trying

I am extremely grateful to Yoshi-P and his team for FFXIV ARR, it is a wonderful game. No game is perfect, there are flaws in every game and focusing on flaws is sadly quite easy, as we see on these forums every day. However with A Realm Reborn, the positives outweigh the negatives by a truly massive margin.

Thanks Yoshi-P, thanks to you and your team for producing this game and continuing to develop and support FFXIV.

Congratulations Great Work done by Yoshi-P and his team.

I am Turn Based Games Player. It is one of the very few titles, not turn based, where I decide to stay for long. (crafting, gathering and open PvE is best here). I trust that with time You certainly plan to give more content for players like me, old FFs followers.

    Thank You and Best Wishes.

English is not my native language. Sorry for grammar and vocabulary.
My entire English language learning are just games.
Not too old to improve of course.

Yeah I think the game has a lot of heart put into it. As a long time FF fan I really enjoy all the shout outs to prior games, and the quality of the level design, voice acting, storyline, etc I also think the encounter design is pretty good, although there are some things that need refining (Titan Hard Mode, for example). I made a threat griping about how to improve tanks, but it's my only real criticism of the game. Everything else is really good, which is why I am looking forward to the game improving as time goes on.

Thanks for making a great world.

Honestly, I have nothing but respect for Yoshi and the entire development team.
Not often we see developers come out and openly admit when something went wrong- not only admit but provide a detailed reason why it happened (ie launch errors, 2.16's Turn 2 and 5 changes etc).

Other MMO developers (lol Bioware) should take a leaf :P Instead of acting like nothing is wrong at all!

Thank you team! Love the game! xD

People seem to be forgetting that the developers of this game are human beings. No one is perfect, and ripping their game apart because you're frustrated or dissatisfied is just plain mean. I too would like to thank them for all the hard work. Love this game.

Yes, they have done a great job laying the foundations, and it's a great gaming and financial success. But they really need to cock an ear to the wind starting to blow through the upper branches of this game. A wind which could eventually snap the tree. This game needs a soul and warm blood flowing through it's veins which at present it just does not have.

Having stuck with 1.0 from launch to the 'Final Battle' I appreciate that things can take time and only when looking back can you see how it all developed and grew.
Before ARR's launch / early access I said to my self that I would stick with this game for at least the first year as it took about that long for 1.0 to become the wonderful game it was by 1.23.

This being said though, they seriously do need to pay close attention to the observations and complaints from people regarding the state of this game and the world within which it exists. I'm not expecting a wish fulfillment exercise, but a lot of people are worried about many similar things and voicing the same concerns.
