PS3 vs PC vs PS4 dated events

I have been here since about a week or so into the game (thankfully missed most of the madness that was the launch) so i have experience every event that has arrived in game so far.

But... what about those who were awaiting the PS4 version of the game? Will those same events replay with the exact same content and the exact same rewards for brand new players on PS4? Or will the theme and content of each event change each time?

Effectively screwing those on PS4 from ever getting the rewards from past events.

I have not missed anything personally, but i can certainly see many new players on PS4 being disappointed that at launch on their platform, they have already missed them and have no ability to gain them from day 1 onwards.

If it's anything like 1.0, the events change every year. Sometimes previous event items are available, sometimes not.

But this is the same as coming into an MMO months after launch. PS4 was not available at launch, so anyone who wanted to wait just for the PS4 version, it's their choice, nothing more.

the events will roll around next year again (well except for the lightning returns and dragon quest events), and there will be new items added to the events each year an the old will be there as well. on the new years event, only the horse helmets were for this year, all the other helemts like the snake an the dragon an the rabbit were from previous years, same thing with the xmas event, the reindeer costume was from the last year in 1.0, etc etc. they did it like this in ffxi also
