Is it just me or does it seem as if the graphics settings are maybe a little too high by default? I'm not just talking about built up towns, I made a point to run to revs toll (empty) and the frame rate still seemed a bit..... meh

How to Maximize the FFXIV Launcher Menu
During the beta test phase 1, the FFXIV launcher menu will not be displayed in full screen at default.
To zoom into the launcher menu, please press the R3 button on the controller.
* Starting in beta test phase 2, the FFXIV launcher menu will display in full screen at default.

Mmmmmm, delicious misconceptions about PC's and whatnot.
My $800 rig plays it suuuuper nice on my 55inch LED HDTV at maximum settings, while also surfing the internet and sucking at hearthstone on the side.
Kickin up my feet like a boss ya buncha jelly beans.
Could probably run it for even less now seeing as my rig is a little over a year old.

The chat box is to small to. we need an open to increase the size.

Unless something is drastically different on PS4, the chat box has a draggable corner for resizing and you can change the font size in Character Confiuration under Log Window Settings.

Do you mean the chat window or the NPC chat bubbles?

You should can change the chat window size like on PC with mouse left-clicking on the right upper corner of the chat window (and moving the mouse while doing it). If not, then maybe it is a bug.
