I had to leave the game for abit, and have since returned. Lost. lol. I am 47 WHM. Here's my question:

Is it important that i continue leveling my sub job past 15 and onto 25? Im pretty sure the answer is yes, but again Im feeling confused lol.

To get the most out of your whm you'll not only want to level arcanist to 34 (to cross class eye for an eye) but also thaumaturge to 26 to get swiftcast. On the way you'll also gain virus from arcanist and surecast and blizzard II from thaumaturge which is about the entirety of usefulish cross class skills.

For everything up until Coils, you can (and should) just get your WHM to 50 first, so you can start collecting Crystal Tower gear. But if you have your eyes on the Binding Coils, you'll want to get Swiftcast and Eye for an Eye as mentioned previously.

Quite honestly an eye for an eye is pointless if youre gonna lv an arcanist just to get it. If you plan on becoming a summoner or scholar then go for it.

A blm swiftcast is very useful period. In the end I'd recommend lv your whm to 50 asap. Finish your main scenario.

This isn't true eye for an eye is very important in endgame when stuff like Phase 4 twintania his hitting you for massive death sentences the 10% reduction from eye for an eye is a lot.

E4E is far from pointless. Unreliable, perhaps, but 20% over 30s for at least one proc isn't bad.

Having swiftcast could prevent a party from wiping. Not having it could cause the opposite, even if the dead party member(s) in question probably got himself (or themselves) killed in the first place.

Agree with the above, get yourself swiftcast from THM at least. Deffo useful for things like Titan HM, and Coil in moments you have a spare few seconds to raise someone without it being a waste of MP. Swiftcast is nice to throw out instant stoneskin or heals sometimes too.
