Same problem, game runs fine on all 3 of my laptops and my 2 other desktops. It is not a network issue. It isn't a permissions issue, a registry issue, or a directory location issue. All three of those would be fixed with a clean install of the game. It isn't a anti-virus or firewall issue. Because when you start up or try to install the game again your anti-virus or your firewall would be going ape-shit with questions and "are you sure". My fix was the same thing I do when I have any major problems that, a registry cleaner and a fresh install of the game can't fix. Format and install my OS again. If you have restore points and or a "recovery" options from what ever manufacturer your computer is from use them. If you built it yourself or had someone build it for you use the windows OS disc you should have gotten to Format and Install a fresh copy of your OS on your system. If you don't know how to do this or are having trouble I can walk you through it just drop me a line on here I'll be watching this thread.
