Ready Check -disable option

Can we have an option in the system or configuration menu to disable this feature. It is very annoying even when it is not being abused.

Party chat, and voice chats are more than enough for some people. Why force the ready check feature on everyone?

What does the general communities opinion for Ready Check?

I haven't experienced others abusing it myself but it is in my opinion nice feature to have as there have been many times I wish I would do a ready check or ask if everyone is ready so to me it's nice that the option to use it is there if I wanted to or someone wanted to use it.

Correct me if I'm wrong but ready check only occurs if the party initiates it doesn't it? I know I have yet to see it myself and I've done a couple things in duty finder since it was added.

That said, I really don't see why you would want to disable it unless you're planning to go afk and don't want your party to know about it when they initiate the ready check. Some people don't read chat, this feature is a good way to get their attention and I'm glad it was added.

I'm happy this feature has been added. There's been many times where I've wanted a ready check for a pf group. I'll type out 'Are we ready?' and only get one or two people to respond, then a few minutes later someone whines that we haven't queued up.
Honestly don't see what the point of having it would be if someone can opt out of it.
They're already planning on a fix to prevent spamming it, anyways.

The development team is looking into placing limitations on the use of the ready check feature, as this should not be used during battle. In addition, for patch 2.2 they are also discussing making it so the person who initiated the ready check will have their name displayed.

Only issue I see with just doing name display is if a group of 4 or 5 enters and spams it. As they can't be voted then. Usually from what I seen most trolls come in groups in CT as one player doesn't do much.

It won't pop up in combat anymore. Just ignore it while running between bosses in that situation and report the user(s) for harassment.

I don't understand the use of Ready Checks inside the dungeon. It's so annoying in CT.

Just delete the option its just a huge aggravation for me when people spam it

Thankfully, as Crankysorc quoted, they're going to fix that feature. This game needed that and it's a bad idea to disable it. I hope they do the same thing with "vote abandon", since those kids in CT or other instances think they're trolls by doing it.
