What happened to A Matter of Honor?

Up until about a month or so ago, I had been playing primarily as Y'kayah Tia. I was a member of the FC A Matter of Honor and everything seemed to be going well there. There were nearly always a bunch of people on and everyone was friendly. We helped each other out. We were saving up to buy a house.

Well, the Lightning Strikes event was coming up again (likely for the last time), and since I'm more interested in Lightning's outfit than Snow's, I wanted to focus on leveling up my only female alt, Dylise, in time to complete it. So I took a break from Y'kayah for a while as I power-leveled Dylise up from 12 to 44.

A couple days ago, when it was clear I was in good shape to hit 45 on Dylise and finish the event, I decided to check back in as Y'kayah and see how things were going. To my dismay, I found that Y'kayah isn't a member of a free company any more. It felt a bit like coming home after being out of town a while to find your family has moved out without a word while you were gone and there's nothing but an empty lot where your home used to be.

My first thought was that I'd been kicked from the FC, but we'd been getting along fine and, though I'd been away for a little while, it certainly wasn't long enough to account for being kicked as inactive. Then I looked up one of the FC officers and found he's now a member of a different FC. And although I used to run into members of A Matter of Honor quite often when I started playing Dylise, I don't recall having noticed that <<HONOR>> tag after people's names in the past couple weeks or so. Has the FC been disbanded? If so, why? Everything seemed to be going well. It was quite active, and we were doing forward-looking things like saving for a house, so it certainly didn't feel like an FC that was about to dissolve.

A Matter of Honor still stands. We have land acquisition in Limsa Lominsa plot 18 5th Ward. Getting our building permit tonight. You were kicked because of inactivity over 30 days. Had I known or a Council members know what you were doing we would not have kicked you. I am sorry about this and we welcome you back.
