Why do they ask that? Dolls do usually have large eyes.. That's not enough to pin point what race she was exactly.. in my opinion.Er yeah, I wrote this right when I woke up lol. My apologies and ty for noticing my mistake. The design of the Wind-up Edvya has had people asking me if she was a Lalafell, as she does resemble one slightly (large eyes) and that I thought it would might be strategic for a Hyur to adopt a Lalafell daughter to appeal to the Ul'dahn masses.

Because the doll is based off the real Edvya. And true a lot of dolls have large eyes but there's just as many that have real life sized proportions. My point for Edvya being a Lalafell isn't just about her eyes, it's part of a successful succession in Ul'dah, a Lalafell in the new family would help ease tensions.

I still think the doll isn't a 100% accurate depiction of what she really looked like, but more just an exaggeration of what contemporary Ul'dahns think she looked like. After all, most of the minions are just exaggerated or super-deformed versions of the real thing too (ala, the 'mini Company leader' minions are equally superdeformed). So I wouldn't read too much into her appearance to 'prove' that she was a lalafell.

And when was the last time any of you saw a doll that was the same size as a real person? I smell a Highlander dynasty.
