I petition for a new load balancing schema.

I know you guys are pouring your blood, sweat, and tears into this game but building a proper load balance architecture would greatly improve player experience. I've only been playing the game 6 days and twice you've taken the entire network down for maintenance. There are alot of companies that would go out of business if their production environment went down as often as yours does. We have the technology! Lets use it!

If you built redundant server farms and pushed players over to one farm while you took the backup down for maintenance, you could accomplish all your needs for updating the servers and the players still get to play. Once the back up is updated, force everyone to log off the primary and when the reconnect, they get redirected to the updated backup farm, their client updates and they get to continue playing while you update the primary. Then when both are updated, you can load balance between the two during peak usage to minimize lag.

Its a lot of cost to take in but as you continue to grow your player base, the tolerance for for server down time is only going to decrease. Especially when players pay $13 a month to play a game that goes down twice a week.
