Once you get to blm you loose the cross class heal of conjurer.
Instead you can have Physic to heal yourself which is from the Arcanist class.
I highly recommend any blm get Quelling Strikes from Archer as it is so easy to get agro as a blm, QS reduces that
I started as a Archer as my Main class so i already had that portion unlocked and Bard is a fun class as well. But blm by far is one of the more damaging dps classes.
You don't need to create a new character. You want to do a bunch of leveling of classes other than your main anyway, for cross-class skills.
As mentioned, having Cure is *really* helpful for every other class.
At this point, I'd get CNJ to 12. You only need 10 to unlock the ability to change classes, but you get Raise at 10 which can be another great cross-class skill when starting out.
After that, you have to finish the storyline quest at 15 to get access to other cities (you could run there now but there it isn't necessary). Since you will eventually have to get archer to 15 for black mage, you could either get far enough with conjurer or switch to archer and get to 15 with that.
You should also go into the Party Members section of the Social menu, select yourself and edit your search info. There is a new online setting for New Adventurer. That will let helpful people find you more easily.![]()
u dont need a new char, your conjurer must reach lvl 10, then u can choose other classes
Wait... You are in Gridania. Go to the archer guild and level archer until the envoy quest.
Good part about this game is being able to change your fighting class.
Yes, it does. More or less... At least for paladin, black mage and white mage
FINAL FANTASY x|v > ARMOURY > JOBS
By achieving sufficient mastery in a certain class, adventurers will be able to begin undertaking the mantle of a related job. For instance, gladiators may rise up as paladins, stout swordsmen who shield comrades from harm; thaumaturges may aspire to become black mages, masters of offensive magic; while conjurers may find a new calling as white mages, masters of healing.
PS. I do agree, the site does not offer proper/enough information on this. My nitpicking post is just to encourage you to read as much as you can in-game, active help windows and quests especially. Also, stick yourself to the main story quests and don't forget to go back to the guildmaster of your current class every 5 levels (5, 10, 15,...)
