Funny that makes you sad, because it's "a bit" more based on facts (actually, only the Reinheart's translation part, because the part he says Apple makes no restrictions is hilarious) than the post you chose as truth as in "This guy gets it".

I never said anything was fiction. The part I'm sad about is a quote about the development team scoffing off the idea of extending support.
Also, what's non-factual about what I quoted?
You know there are many MANY other reasons people buy a different operating system besides "it looks pretty..."

I didn't see it as scoffing. Yoshi-P explicitly says, even during the presentation, that he personally wants a Mac version (and also mentioned it over a year ago). I took the "joking" and "laugh" to be that he knows their schedule & resources don't allow time for it, yet he keeps mentioning his wish to the team.
As for "Mac's demands", it could mean amount of resources and technical requirements. We don't know what that involves. Like elsewhere for what sounds like a simple thing, he says their cost to allow storing users' hotbar & macro settings on the server "will require a couple of millions in investment".
Late edit: That "millions" is in yen. That would probably translate to "over US$20,000", so not "cheap" but not as outrageously expensive as it initially sounded.![]()

OpenGL is available on Mac and you can code in c++, LUA, ... on Mac, but I would suspect the game engine they are using does not support Mac OS which would mean they would either need to get the company who makes their engine to program a Mac version, or code their own. = not going to happen. As for "Mac's demands", it could mean amount of resources and technical requirements. and in regards to the app store, you don't have to distribute using the app store it is a choice not a requirement so patching costing money isn't the reason. So I am going to have to give ArkhamNative the win on that one
