Don't think so just take longer for the NA dev to tell the JP dev then for them to tell someone about it. While if it written in JP the dev just take that info and give it straight to Yoshi-p which could be a few room from them lol.

That or it's such a small issue it's a waste of time and money to fix. In this case you just don't allow anymore to promote too they fix it.

The language this is reported in only matters if you want a direct dev response instead of a community rep response with a translated message from devs. I'm sure they've seen this and have passed it on by now. Let's just hope we get the reply we seek and not "working as intended"

I'm really sad that some people actually said that it's the FC fault for trusting someone...

It's like "well it's ok you have been robbed, you should have been careful, lock your door house the next time! the thief has its right to enter since it was open !" zomg o.O

I'm aware It could have been prevented with changes, but don't you think there is a flaw? that someone actually can promote someone to a higher rank? I definitely think there is. Anyway, pointing fingers won't change a thing, talking about it and increasing awareness can prevent further theft though

He wanted a rank to distinguish his group from other people in the free company. His rank was "Static Leader" and his static members were "Static Onions". (We use an Onion Knight theme for ranks).

I didn't think anything of it when we created the extra ranks. I have an alt character on another server who's FC has specialty ranks for crafting/gathering, and other random things.

But I digress, the point of this thread isn't about our failures... it's about fixing this so it doesn't happen to others. There are several people who responded to this thread that didn't know about this.

Well regardless, I am sorry that it happened and I hope that Se is able to rectify the situation.

Or like a builder built in a hidden door for thieves and selling it to a family who of course have no idea that there is a second way into their house, because most other builders don't do this anymore. If I wasn't warned about this some time ago (a ranty thread in a general MMO forum) when looking up Free Company guides, I would also have assumed that no one could promote above their rank, and when I found out, I assumed that since the ranter informed S-E, it would be hotfixed as soon as possible, because it makes no sense and is easily exploited since most believe it impossible to begin with.
