Future Ishgard Housing and those of us who want to upgrade.

I am, like everyone else, excited for Ishgard housing. Whenever that time comes, I would like to get a bigger house but am really bummed about all the stuff that will be destroyed in the process. (like the Levi fountain outside, or the crystal tower indoor furnishing.) Has there been any word on if there will be an "upgrade" process so we can transfer all our stuffs intact to a new house? I do not mind at all losing what was spent to buy the property/building permit, I would really just not want to lose all the furnishings I have amassed that are destroyed upon retrieval.

yes, they've talked about a "moving" feature multiple times now and this will be released before/with Ishgard housing.

the biggest thing is so FCs can move without losing their airship ranks and Personal rooms but the assumption is it will also move any of the permanent furnishings as well.

The way they handle furnishings in this game leaves much to be desired. I imagine they are trying to make it so that you can't resell or trade items freely, but there has got to be a way to handle that better versus "Item is destroyed once removed!".

Maybe make it so that you can't put certain items in the FC chest for trading (this may already be active, not 100% sure), or allow for those items that are demolished to be obtained again by the Calamity Salvager.

Honestly the game needs more gil sinks. Let it cost gil to move or recover furniture.

yes! I really hope this goes through this would make moving a breeze
