1. I actually read your post's a good number of times. And I fully understand what you mean.
2. I actually WOULD keep my name because why would I change the name people know me by?
3. Yes, Fantasia Potions. And you only get very few in the game (If your lucky, with full benefits, only 2 max or that 1 freebie you get for the month reward). Do you see name change potions in the game? No? Alright then so moving right along...
4. I could hardly care about your personal reasons but if you truly want to waste money just to change a name then who is to stop you? You can keep on asking but SE wont do anything unless a huge amount of players really want it. Other than that, I hear nothing in the news about SE working on some kind of name changing service. (hence, the little crown on a topic)

I was simply pointing out my opinion.

I simply stated that paying to change your name instead of making another character is just a waste of money and time.
But if you really want, we can continue to throw our opinions at each other.

Well, then I equally think changing your characters' race two times is a waste of time and money. You should have been more serious when you chose.

ahh but if I make a new character I can get the fantasia potions yet again sense it's connected to my account like all my other rewards.
but for a name change... you can only do that once am I correct?

Not once, never. Failing to see you're point, as that's why I've supported adding the feature to the game, which is a standard option in almost every online game, especially MMO, created in the last ten years.

So I'm still failing to see why you're gloating about fantasia potions. You don't think people should be able to change their name, but you're fine with people adjusting their entire appearance and actual race. Your opposition to the suggestion of changing names when you have that kind of attitude about changing appearance is just plain weird.

By the way, you can force a name change by buying a server transfer, creating a new character with the same name, then buying a second transfer and moving the character back after a 3-4 day waiting period. So for a total of four days and 36 dollars you can change your name within the bounds of the game's own parameters "at will."

But pardon, isn't that excessive? So again, might I suggest a basic online game function.

When have I gloated about the fantasia potions?
I am only pointing out the obvious facts sense you keep on mentioning the fantasia potions. Last time I checked, this was about the name change and not the potions.
I never once mentioned about fantasia potions until you brought it up and that was only explaining on the limit you can have and that it's connected to your account.

Also, I played so many mmo's in the last 10 years that I can agree that about... 80%... maybe... sell name changes in the cash shop. Which brings up this little topic. Cash Shops. A lot of mmo's are free to play so in order to keep the game running they have to get money somehow so they have a system where people can buy something from things called Cash Shops which sells pretty much anything they think will be a good idea to sell to anyone who is willing to buy.

you can continue to twist my words all you like but my opinion still stands. If you want to have another name then make another character. Really though, it's not hard at all to level up a class. Annoying? maybe it is for some people. But it's still a free way to get a name you want. If they make a name change service then good for the people who want to pay to change their name. It's just that i'm not going to use it if they did add that feature. I never changed my name in any game I've played mostly because it's pretty stupid too me if you just waste money just to change a name.
