Name changing

I'm sure this has been mention before, however I cannot find a up to date thread, so I'm just going to suggest it again.

I would love to see this feature for name changing, I wouldn't mind paying real money to change one of my characters names.

I'm sure this is easily implemented since we already got the fantasia potion.

Support redirected me to this forum so I figured I might as well add my voice to this request. I'd appreciate the ability to change names, if only because people tend to frequently have issues spelling the name right! (I also want to do something more Lalafell-like)

As namechanges are possible following character deletion reversal and server changes for conflicting names, I think we should also be offered the option outside of those two possibilities.

I'm all for this idea. I was really disappointed to find out that my character's last name is used too often in the random name generator. I want to change my last name to something unique and not continue to come across players with the same last name.

Nope. Anyone who groups determine is a massive idiot and shouldn't be invited to things should not have the opportunity to pay a fee to avoid that.

Care to elaborate? how does it cause bad things? If anything, it might be just a slight confusion where players like me who decided to actually commit to this game however is dissatisfied with their name but don't want to start a new character. This is a feature that should be implemented and if you don't like it, don't use it. It's simple.

And the whole thing with the "reputation" if a person has a bad reputation, it would be wise to blacklist him. So the changed name carries onto the blacklist.

if its an item like Fantasia that you get just one or its limited to get...i give my voice too.
But if you can always change your name or its a item easy to get...i'll agree with Pakuda...bad things will unfortunately happen!

Is it possible that someone can explain here what are the "bad things" that can happen with name changes? Until now I just saw some obscure ghetto slang explain, but I'd prefer plain English, because I cannot read your minds and cannot understand anything by your words, that seems random placed and are greek to me.

A LOT of people mockingly thought up horribly derogative bad names when they first joined thinking they wouldnt like the game, wanting to just ruin things for others and troll around. Now that they have decided they want to play nice they dont deserve a name-change. If they want to play under a diffirent name, let them make a new character. We shouldnt reward people like that.
