They've confirmed 2.2 for March. When it March will be said at the next Live Letter.

Glad they confirmed it finally. It'll be just as I was mentioning yesterday in a previous argument here.

It's not a bad thing that they are removing the cap. It just means the new Tome gear will be just that much better than the current gear.

Unless new coil accessories are going to have more stats than just primary (please have some STR in tank accessories, VIT in healer/dps), we are going to get the same situation that crafted gear will be BiS (especially for a tank, losing some HP for a massive DPS boost), which is exactly against what SE intends, dungeon gear is intended to be better. Besides, the fact that only the rich people can get best gear promotes RMT and content loses worth.

This is not true ilvl 70 crafted are not better then ilvl 90 tank accessories if I want pure tank stats and the most HP

Currently if you go for a crafted ring as a tank ring vs gryphonskin ring
ilvl 90 heros ring of fending - 15 vit, 11 parry, 16 accuracy
ilvl 70 gryphonskin ring - 9 str 9 dex 12 acc 9 skill speed + melds (10 vit, 12 parry, crit 9)

You have a loss of 5 vit which is about 74 hp, now say if you went full crafted accessories thats a loss of 370 HP to gain some dps. As a tank its better to have more HP over doing a little more DPS since your job is to live, not do dps. There is no massive dps boost it would be fairly small and the trade off of losing HP isn't worth it. Twintina can still get a lucky crit off on you and its possible to die from death sentence so why make that chance greater and lower your own HP?
