Cannot change class "Insufficient Armoury chest space"

Issue:
Since yesterday 2/19/2014 I haven't been able to change my class to specific classes and receive a message "Unable to equip ****. Insufficient armoury chest space." I have plenty of space in my armoury and this only happens with specific classes, dragoon, conjourer, archer, marauder, pugilist, archanist, and fisher. I have not checked all of the classes, but there are the ones which I have checked. I can change through my desciples of the hand, and of the land fine without error. Hopefully you guys can help me with this. I already tried emptying out my armoury chest and equiping just a weapon but was still unable to change classes.

It's probably your rings, if you're at 24 / 25, changing jobs with two rings already equipped will make it try to put two rings into the armoury chest first, which cannot happen.

The new on gear set adjustments looks at materia slotted in too. Basicly all your old registered gear will have, by default, no materia selected. Since you obviously have materia in your gear, it will look for it, not find anything, and substitute it with the same piece that has a diffirent materia layout than the one saved (which is None, by default). Because of that added check, it will try putting away two rings first, which it cannot do.

The solution is simple.

Take out two not-used-much rings from your Armoury Chest. Change into every equipped job you have on your Gear Set list, and re-register it with the circular arrow thingy. After that, you can put your rings back into the armoury chest and you can switch between jobs at ease again.

Still a massive oversight on SE's part...

Oh thanks so much, it was actually in my off hand I tossed 2 items and tried changing and something was added to my off hand, although dragoons don't have anything in my off hand.
