Unable to download patch files [30413] [20495]

Consistently getting this patching error when I try to update my game, I've restarted my modem, restarted my computer, had someone send me their boot file, changed my DNS settings and still absolutely no luck.

this will be the start of peak download time. Everyone coming home that couldn't patch the game at dark-thirty last night, or earlier this afternoon on break and such.

May be in for a 4-5 hour stint of slow downloads and disconnects if you didn't beat the rush to download the updates.... the usual mess. All anyone will tell you atm is to try again later, which is about all we can do until SE spreads the files out to more servers to relieve the congestion.

It has been well over 15 hours that I've been attempting again and again and again to try to download this patch. It's getting to be just ridiclous at this point, it's currently 3:50am and I'm still getting the exact same error at the exact same point in the download.

Apparently ur not the only one...i had the same exact problem.
the update stops @ 47Mbs then just crashed...this happens since yesterday morning...thats 24 hr ago..
i really hope they can update this asap...cause i need to cap my myth...

Nice to see im not alone, ive looked for ages for a solution to this crap none work.

Every single patch since the first ive had the same problem on every single patch download.

Ive seen all these codes atleast once.

Ive never once had a single issue with any mmo until this one in the past what 5 years? I dont understand the problem. To me it seems their launcher just sucks because this is ridiculous. The ironic thing is eventually after trying constantly it sometimes does patch and when it has i play perfectly fine without any issues, this is the only problem i have and tbh its a joke...

Had the same problem, tried most of the solutions but nothing.

last option was to Disconnect my Wireless adapter and then connected my Ethernet cable to my router and poof no Error

((Had the same problem with STEAM and this was the fix))

hey i found a partial solution...i havent check if i can dl the 2.1.6 patch yet...but lemme tell u what i did..

i uninstall the game and reinstall it and when it was dlin the 1st patch, it keeps cutting me on 47Mb again.
but then i talked to some of my guildmates and they suggest me to do the following:

on windows 7 start: look for msconfig
in system configuration, go to general, start up selection
then click on selective start up, uncheck on load start up items.
apply then reboot. now im dling the 1st patch again but @ 4Gb and counting and hopefully it can dl the 2.1.6 patch.

now i think what happen is that (i dont know if u guys have it or not) some of the other program like Steam, Origin, etc.
might be the cause that keep crashing the dl.

UPDATE: got the patch now! im back in the game! heres what i did:
when it give u error on 47Mb again... go to my document/mygames/finalfantasy14/downloads/patch
then delete the folder that said 4e9a232b
then try redownload... oh and dont forget to change the msconfig while u do that.

now i dont think u need to uninstall the game yet because u could just get msconfig then unclick the startup program and maybe it'll work for y'all
but hit me up if it doesnt work...ill see if i can help u guys
