By skipping do you mean where everything stops for a bit and like fast forwards instantly? or do you just mean everything resembles a strobe light in a dark room in which everything is still moving, but in the funny robotic way? If you meant the previous, then you're talking about rubberbanding, and I think all of us see that every now and then. If it's the later, that might be more of a problem on your end. while your connection to other items might seem fine, it's not unheard of for one connection to hiccup.

But of course, as already said, things can be rather touchy after a patch. Just give it some time.
