    New macro "wait" help

The following is in the patch notes:

Players can now use the syntax in place of the /wait command.

    * "number" can be any digit between 1 and 60.

    Example
Using Raise on a target one second after Swiftcast
    /action Swiftcast
    /action Raise
By using the syntax, players can now use the wait function together with other actions on a single line.
    * Please note the original /wait command can still be used if desired.
Can someone explain this to me better than what is explained here? Are they saying that /wait 1 is now assumed? If so, what is with the note about "number" can be any digit between 1 and 60? What "number"?

Any help in translation would be most appreciated.

They didn't format the patch notes correctly. If you look at the page's code, you'll see the tags they screwed up on.
    It should be:

    /action Swiftcast <wait.1>
    /action Raise

You can stick <wait.X> after a command on the same line to make it wait X seconds before going on to the next line. Decimals aren't supposed to work.

    And 1 was always assumed. "/wait" is "/wait 1" and <wait> is <wait.1>.

Irony of ironies: the notes explaining the new /wait command syntax are unintelligible because of a syntax error.

what in the world... why do they need to limit the timer to 60 seconds? i actually need 62 seconds on my immunity Echo's.

immunity resist timers seem to reset roughly every 60 seconds. i have done much testing. and i make the following macro...

    /micon "Shield Bash"
    /ac "Shield Bash"
    /wait 62
    /echo Stun Immunity Rest!
    /echo <se.#> <se.#> <se.#>

i forget the sound effect number used. and the /micon command may be wrong. but it supposed to be whatever the command is to show you the proper resource usage and cooldown. i don't have the game launched so i can not check at this moment.

either way... the point is is that if i put /wait 60. and then hit Shield Bash the moment the Echo broadcast happens. then the enemy is still immune. same thing for /wait 61. /wait 62 is just perfect.

    Square Enix~!??!?!?
