Pros
No need to ever go to a city or location for buying items from market board.
No mass gathering of people at market board locations.
Lower Teleport Fees due to not teleporting to cities for items & back to same location aka wineport.
History price check as soon as you get a item your unsure what its worth.
Less amount of Market Boards placed in towns (Since there not needed)
Faster buying of items from market board (both pro & a con)

Cons
Probably increased tax from using this feature instead of location boards.
More mass gathering probably in other locations such as Rev Toll.
Not having option to buy items in a duty.

Never going to happen. It's too much of a strain on the database if they allowed you to access the market anytime anywhere.

Your first question is perfect and agreeable, but the second one kind of lowers your point, since not everyone played FFXI and you really should think about that.

Ever heard of a chocobo? For god's sake, Wineport and Limsa are exactly ONE zone apart from each other. It takes about 3 minutes to cross Middle La Noscea.
