It simply needs to be adjusted so only party leader can use it nor allow it to be used when the party is engaged in battle.

why assume a party leader would not exploit the feature ? it needs a smart redesign to not allow abuse , but im not payed to come up with solutions for this so i let the devs find some solution , hopefully it gets attention soon![]()

I also added not in battle either. However, the biggest problem is that someone who is anonymous doing it, you don't know who to vote kick. If the leader is abusing it, you know who to vote kick.
If the party leader is only able to do it, then we'll know he's abusing it so we can initiate a vote dismiss

The problem with this method is, when entering any dungeon/raid party leaders get all mixed up. The person who started a party, or is leading doesn't get it in the instance. Also there is always people who just don't want to lead, and will nullify the ready check's good use. I'm not against this method if party leaders are kept when entering instances, though alliances will be another hurdle, especially with DF. One way to accomplish the same thing.. Just add who initiated the ready check to the box.. Easy to vote kick the troll. The same should be done for the vote dismiss feature.
This I totally agree with, and it is the easy fix for this. Not sure why SE would allow it beyond the engagement.. defeats the purpose of a ready check. I'd hope people are ready if you are fighting, and if not it will be quite apparent before a ready check can even be initiated.
Noooo not at all. Though "spamming" is annoying, the engagement canceling it is best. People do legitimately need to know before 6-7mins whether or not someone is ready or back. Sometimes its coming back from a 5min break to just test to see who from your group is back. Then you do another in 30sec. or a 1min when someone says they are back, etc. Then there can be one for when you know people are back, and want to actually know who is ready for the engagement.. etc... It is actually a good thing to have around, and players will see the benefits when trolls are able to be dealt with.
It's very simple - make it 6-7 cool down PER PERSON.
This way "oh bob went to the bathroom" since JOhn already did a ready check, Melissa can do a ready check when Bob is back.
This way you don't have the same troll spamming it over and over. So in fact it's not a bad idea at all.
If you have multiple people spamming it though then you're in a party full of trolls and it's a sign to leave anyway :P

If they are going to go through the work, might as well do it right. Putting a 6-7min timer is going to diminish its good use. Unless you are on VoIP with those other people, its hard enough to get someone to stand on a platform in CT, let alone initiate ready checks when asked. If they put who initiated the ready check, problem solved. Person kicked for trolling, and we still retain the benefits and intended use for ready check. It's very simple - make it 6-7 cool down PER PERSON.
