Red enemy skill indicator changed to beige

It's nice that the enemy skill indicator has wavey movements now, but the yellow/white color is so bland that it's very non-threatening and people don't run away as quickly as they should anymore. Should the entire general population suffer for the sake of less than 1% of people who are colorblind? I'd like the option to be able to choose red or this new beige indicator.

Red is a great color for "oh shite", but that doesn't mean people won't run away from the pain if it's beige, 'specially if they get hit a few times first. Once bitten and all that.

What's really criminal is the wavey motion on the indicator not bein' akin to the cast bar for the action. Having the swish start at the origin and reach the end of the graphic when the ability is about to fire would've been a nicer visual cue for how screwed ya are.

TSW does something like this, which would have been a nice addition. You can see it here. When the white lines inside the arc of the attack touch, then the attack goes off.

Then again, that game also has a dodge system, which I don't think we need at all.

TSW also had pretty good positional updating for actually avoiding those aoes too, something that FFXIV with an exponentially bigger budget can't get right. lol

I have to second/third this. I played a lot of TSW the game had its flaws, the positional markers were not one of them, they were excellent.

    The new indicators are fine.

I don't have a problem with it but i do wish they let us customize the color of it in the future.

    ^ This.

Instead of forcing it upon every single player, add it as an option to change it back to Red because let's face it... beige isn't exactly the most threatening and alerting colour in the world.
