I don't like having the cog icon on my Macros.
I don't like the color change and that stupid pulsing inside the attack areas.
I don't like the larger font size of the currently selected chat.
Anyway to do so that I'm not finding?
Just getting rid of the new enemy attack change would be awesome. I hate the new color and the pulsing, it's stupid and unneeded. It's more distracting than helpful. I don't know of a single person who had a problem with just the red area.![]()
I've heard the pulsing graphic of the enemy attack indicators are a lot more noticeable when you're fighting in water. (looking at you Eft in Brayflox)
Maybe this will somehow help with Leviathan.
You should remove the games you have not played, just because you never played them doesn't mean the option isn't there. Blizzard, Trion, Riot, Valve many 2K online games all have CB options.
yeah I'm pretty severly colorblind, so this helps me a lot.
now if they would just chance the darn colors for quest target areas on the map....
so just did ifrit ex and find out i was healing myself using the same macro, never had this problem before, also think the same thing happened in titan ex when i shouldnt be too far from tank considering the size of the arena. Why did they have to add target self to macro, if someone wanted to target themselves they couldve just added a second line to the macro of<me> and problem would be solved, instead theyve messsed a lot of peoples macros up.
:< I wish Squee hadn't sullied my beautiful action bars with silly cog wheels. Well over half my abilities are macros. I really don't need to be shown which ones are and which ones aren't! At least let us disable it.
I do agree with this. They're much easier to see. The red often blended in with the ground.
I hope you enjoy doing CT with a Ready Check in the middle of a fight every 30 seconds.Take out Ready check? are you being serious?
I Understand that with a new feature (in this game) people are going to see how it works and "play with it." But get real, if you are a raid leader you should love a ready check. If you are among the majority of raiders that do NOT read minds and have to deal with people that for what ever reason are not on your voice server, a ready check feature is extremely helpful. If they limit its use to a raid leader then should should be no way to "abuse" it as you complain about.
Most useless feature? hardly, try the making me look wet in the rain feature for that claim.
All they need to do with the ready check is to put in a fix where only party leads can initiate. Simple.
I don't mind the AOE pulsing indicators and if it helps folks who are colorblind (or otherwise visually impaired), I think it's a great thing. These are all non-issues, imo.
The white indicator is terrible. People don't realize they're being attacked and just die. White is not danger. Red is danger. Why not make white an option for the colorblind instead of force people to watch their party members die for no reason?
My font size is huge when typing, but normal in the chat box. Why? This is distracting and makes me think I'm typing too much. What is the supposed benefit? If you want people to not use smaller font sizes, why not eliminate smaller font options?
Ready Check is useless. "Alliance A ready" "B rdy" "C rdy" was fine. Now CT takes 2x longer cuz' after every fight people spam it non-stop (even though all 24 ppl just killed the last part and are all present) and refuse to engage the next boss. This shouldn't be allowed until 15 mins after entering or 15 mins after it was last used. The timer should reset if someone disconnects.
Disable the ready check while in combat (you or a party member). Problem solved.
