Conflags and snakes didn't need to be nerfed. I supposed the DS dodge was not working as intended, felt a little OP jumping into conflags. The conflag thing wasn't much of an issue though, since the DS hits harder during DK/twister phase, if healers can handle them they should be able to do the same for conflags.
The surprising thing is they nerfed conflags and snakes prior to 2.2. I think no one expected any mechanism nerfs even for 2.2 since the live letter only mention about echo buffs.

Good to know, thanks for the update.
I never really believed it was meant to be done that way and I remember BG got a lot of flak for doing it that way as well when they posted the video.
PLUS!, It's literally easy to rack up LB now, due to how SMN + SCH works. We had LB3 yesterday when we cleared it with the same lineup we're using the our past wins.
I feel that Twintania got dumbed down too early. Well, eventually we'll get there anyway.

These changes (all of them, plus T2 ones) were bugs in the 2.16 patch and will be reverted in a hotfix soon.
It's sad, I would have liked to try the nerfed conflags![]()
So the nerf in Snakes and Dreads will be reverted back as well? And the divebomb icon?

Yeah seems so. I'm waiting for 2.2 patch to see real changes to T1-5

Not sure if they will retain the larger divebomb icons but the walking into conflag, conflag and snakes HP decrease will be reverted back. Yoshida in the Japanese forums side explained that these changes were unintended results of a bug fix (it's rather common to me since I work with IT people and it's true that when they fix one problem, they opened up other problems as as result).
Or alternatively, these might be changes intended for 2.2 but they accidentally ported over to 2.16 (remember that the introduction for 2.16 did mentioned that some of the changes were for 2.2 but they brought it forward to 2.16)

ds wasn't a problem at all even if both healers are trapped ♥
