Most Useless Item in the Game Award!

DoL jobs are the only times I come close to breaking my gear, fishing included. With every other kind of job, I find myself by repair NPCs frequently enough to the point where I'm never in bad need of a repair. This isn't the case with far-out long gathering sessions.

I'll happily take a +10% durability ring, especially considering the fact that the effects of gathering/perception aren't really very clear for fishing like they are for botany/mining.

I do agree that fishers need some way to use their GP though, and with a ring like this I suspect it's in the works.

This is just guessing, except the stool and "more challenges" to fisherman I have no clue on what's coming.

Quad mooching for fish with the following conditions : These fish show up only in certain weather conditions, and are only "around" for a few hours per each Eorzean day. That's why fishers will be getting a stool.... be prepared to pick splinters out of your ass.

Pretty sure wet bombard ash is a lot more useless than this ring at this point in the game's life.

the ring SHOULD have given us perception or gathering............. thanks SE

and hopefully more than a ring with marteria melds.......... that way we'd at least use the new ring......

but right now it's completely useless
