Agreed. Personally, i am totally against a jump button. As the game stand now and will probably be after the autoattack is implemented, there is no reason to add it for gameplay sakes.
And im pretty sure i'll gouge my eyes out when im at the leve-counter and everyone is jumping up and down.

IFFFFFFFF there will be a jump feature, THEN it would be possible to cancel spells by jumping...

So now WHAT exactly was so hard to understand on that sentence? They had it in several letters so far that they are still thinking about a jump feature and if it makes sense...so what is wrong with everyone...this is neither a confirmation nor a denial that jump will/could come...so don't jump the gun and start to listen to what people say for a change.

Being able to jump can allow for some nice battle mechanics that couldn't be done w/o jumping. But then jumping should be on some sort of cooldown as any other ability. We shouldn't be able to jump for the sake of jumping!

Once doesn't imply IT WILL be 100%. No other community had any kind of confirmation that jump will be implemented and no community jumped on the "so called confirmation here" that jump will be in the game. Not to mention if jump would be coming 100%, there would be some kind of response in the JP Board...as long as there isn't, this is nothing confirmed for me. AND not to mention that there are topics about jump and if there would be some sort of "this is coming 100%" the Com Rep could have posted something there!

Wow... Denial seems to be the preferred locale for vacations this summer. This isn't JUST another community, this is the official FFXIV forums bucko. So the Japanese forums are the only place where people can get REAL news in this place? How awesome to know that Bayohne's job doesn't really mean much of anything. Come on now.

And I can think of a very good reason for why they may not come out and say it black on white that jump is coming, this community WILL implode in a raging debate the epicness of which no end game will ever come close to ever achieving.
