As long as Jump doesn't interfere with normal play, I'm neutral on the matter, though if people want it, be my guest.

There is no reason why jump can't be a battle mechanic that is both timing based and dice-checked at the same time. Relegating the MMO to only menu and action bar gameplay is backwards and can't last forever: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LXLNC7w1aQA&hd=1
