it is fine to use jump key as canceling the spell, I just hope that the mage doesn't really does jump animation whenever you cancel the spell <,<.

I hope so, since that's all people want jump for -- an animation since that's the purpose it serves in most MMOs lol.

Wow... Denial seems to be the preferred locale for vacations this summer. This isn't JUST another community, this is the official FFXIV forums bucko. So the Japanese forums are the only place where people can get REAL news in this place? How awesome to know that Bayohne's job doesn't really mean much of anything. Come on now.

And I can think of a very good reason for why they may not come out and say it black on white that jump is coming, this community WILL implode in a raging debate the epicness of which no end game will ever come close to ever achieving.

Tis true, best to ease into the news and lessen the blow. Cause the day that jump is officially announced, it's gonna stir up a hornet's nest.

Those of you who are in denial that a Final Fantasy title will ever include a dedicated jump button, it's coming in FFXIII-2.

The developers also want players to have more control over their character and a larger variety of experiences in the game, which explains the inclusion of a jump button (the first in the numbered FINAL FANTASY series’ long history), which can be used to find hidden chests. (Source)

I posted a while ago in this forum cause i never use KB for this game i always used controller but for some reason you can cancel spells with the emote button can someone else confirm this i wonder if its a glitch only for controller user's it doesn't seem to work on kb tho.

Denial of what? I included first and foremost that a jump ability would allow for nice mechanics in battles etc...so how does my post imply I'm totally against jump? Read and post again...you're so blind of "supporting jump" that everybody who doesn't see Bayohnes post as 100% confirmation is already a troll...

Plus I don't care that this is just as much as an official forum, as the JP and the others boards are. NO other forum started the discussion about jump being implemented yet, so it's something that is limited to the english community so far. There is no official post from devs, there is no official news or whatsoever...as long as that doesn't happen, it's not 100% for me and you could give a crap about if if you wouldn't be much more of a troll than you accuse me for being one...
