Seeking Photos of Revenant's Toll Expansion

So, if I knew Revenant's Toll was going to change so often, I'd have been taking more pictures of it. Let's see if we can get together photos of the place from every phase to document the changes. We should do this to all the places that change and grow; create little histories for them. Seems like it would be something a wiki might do... <scratches head>

I don't think it's been expanded on since the 2.1 patch - I didn't notice any changes since 2.15 anyway, although apparently some npcs have been moved around again. Hence there probably won't be more expansions there til 2.2 probably. May SE prove me wrong though.

They've added some extra paving to the upper area of Revenant's Toll, on the other side of Rowena and her friends. They've also seemed to add more foliage around the area, and some extra towers (that look like they're still in the middle of construction). It's actually looking pretty nice now, was a nice surprise to see when I went there to check the Summoning Bell placement.

Also the entire east side of the camp, the scaffolding is mostly gone and replaced by more-or-less finished buildings. The one by the chocobokeep seems like it might be used for something, it's pretty big, but still closed off.

Each building has changed, really. In addition to the notes above, the area where the bell is now has progressed a bit, and the struggling roegadyn has been moved there instead of down by the aetheryte, which is now finished benches, potted plants, and a tree. I didn't notice anything in 2.15, but big changes from 2.00 to 2.10 and then between 2.15 and 2.16. Were the banners up before? I feel like they're new, but I can't remember.

I don't remember seeing the banners before - they're definitely new. And the old vegetable garden up on the hill where there was also formerly a set of tables and a group of adventurer npcs drinking has been replaced with a paved area which has workmen laying tiles. You're right, things are definitely different now (I checked Revenant's Toll earlier and confirmed what you've stated).

It's looking more and more like an actual city now - to the point I'm starting to suspect that SE are actually planning it to be the 'central hub' city for the game instead of having Ishgard in that role like everyone had thought it would be eventually.
