i'm not sure if anyone else is encountering this problem, but my ps3 problem goes much broader than this.
since the implementation of patch 2.16 i am quite literally unable to even intentionally buffer my commands. this goes beyond simply switching hotbars.
if i use the R/L2+R/L1 cycling method, so long as the next button i press [we'll call this button "Q" which may represent any of the potential cross hotbar buttons] is imput within (what appears to be) a window of about 5-7 frames of when i released the last button, the game defaults to one of 3 options:
1) simply does not recognize the imput of Q at all
- this occurrence becomes far more prevalent if the most recently released button was L1/2 and i then attempt to use a skill on the cross hotbar related to R2
2) will recognize Q as the intended imput, but will function independently of any sort of on-screen indicator (i.e. i may hold R1 in an attempt to bring up my cross-hotbar "catalogue" and pressing the intended button may even bring me to that customized hotbar, however, there will be no indicating sound, and no change in any on-screen graphics to confirm that the game has received my imput)
3) interprets Q as the simultaneous imput of Q+the most recently released R/L button.
^this.one.is.crippling.
the end result of all this: as of this patch, i am consistently dropping my GL3 stacks in t5 as a MNK and it will happen before we even begin DPSing Twintania
>>>>> unrelated to the blatantly obvious problem we have with hotbar "cooperation,"
~ repairing equipment now necessitates having to wait for everything to load correctly within your on-screen field of vision. this is extremely problematic for me as a ps3 user of this game. as, despite having exited the mender/merchant's window, i will be struck and frozen in place until everything on screen loads.
~ dismounting certain mounts will leave you frozen, in air, until the loading process of processing everything on screen is done, similar to the repairing-freeze.
please, please do something about this.
