PS3 Controller Hotbar problems

So I'm trying to find what they changed with the hotbars and tried experimenting on things but no dice, and no changes seems to be made in the patch notes, but for some reason I can't switch hotbars when I'm doing an action.

I play my DRG a lot, and maximizing on it, requires to do moves inbetween your GCD skills, and I obviously have to do it fast, thus my skills are in different hotbars, I just did Titan EX right now and immediately saw the difference, while I was doing heavy thrust and was about to prepare to use my buff (which is in another hotbar), it wouldn't let me. I tried spamming it while doing so and it only let me change hotbars when the animation has halfway done. I normally use the shortcut keys L1 + triangle and L1 + circle to switch between my hotbars but I can't seem to do that anymore.

Is there someone out there that knows how to change it back to before, or if this is some sort of bug that needs to be fixed?

On a side note though, I can switch my hotbars normally outside of battle, it's when I use skills that it stops responding. I still don't know if this is a bug or not, so I held off on reporting it as one.

Same problem on PC with the gamepad that totally affect the gameplay already posted a report for SE.

I had the samething happen to me the Hot Bar would like lock while I attacked so I went into my config and turned off enable auto hotbar switching while drawing/sheathing weapon and it went back to normal for me.

This worked for me also.

This did ~not~ work .. i thought it did. I used Stoneskin and there wasnt a lock but with bulwark there was a lock. SE should address this asap imo.

System>Character Configuration>Hotbar Seeting (tab)> Cross (page)> Set Selection: Enable auto hotbar switching when drawing/sheathing weapon.

(make sure you select "apply" at the bottom before exiting the window)

Not for me, I'm still having the problem, I especially notice it as a physical DPS, I think what happens is it locks the hotbar when doing an action (including cast).

Cross Hotbar Controls set to Hold? That seems to be what's giving me trouble.

After letting go of R2/L2 there seems to be a second or so delay which I'm positive was never there before... It completely locks you out of doing pretty much anything but moving; can't switch hotbar, can't access menu, can't select mouse mode, can't interact with NPCs/etc.

Whatever they did, it's completely destroyed how fluid it used to be...

Yoshi did something in 2011 with gamepads that completely made me quit the game until it was fixed. It was Gamepad target filter. The initial concept of filter was using up and down on the D-pad to change filter, making it absolutely impossible to target pt members from the PT list.

Yoshi is at it again with this "stiffness". I swear this is making me not want to play right now. I'm a healer this is a problem for me.

i also use a controller on pc and as a tank having my CD on another bar this is very troublesome, this needs fixed asap
