Never said it wasn't gamebreaking. I don't consider myself "slow" or what not and I use 2 hotbars actually.

Technically, this is correct. Some people don't notice it until you have them try very specific things.
But it IS something that is universally happening with all gamepads. Whether the individual is "effected" is a matter of them noticing.
It only affects people who fly between crossbars like myself. I'm a warrior tank and I've basically maximized my set up (3 crossbars, one for items/signs/pulls, one for tank/defensive cd and one for dps/offensive cd) allowing me to reach any skill regardless of where its placed in under 2 sec.
Normally, I'd use a skill or action then quickly swap to my next action in a separate crossbar and I would be waiting 1.5 - 2 seconds at the next skill or action but since the patch I've had to wait and sometimes not even make it all to my next said action on a separate crossbar. Very problematic but luckily it is a bug and will be fixed, hopefully before PS4 beta goes live on Feb 22.
Very game breaking for a SCH that flies between bars for DoTs and healing.
I couldn't even play WHM, which I was forced to try because I couldn't SCH properly lol. The party list scrolling function seems to be a little sticky and unresponsive as well. Trying to remove my target on people simply wasn't working during some points.
Gonna have to wait for that fix, sad to say.. Crafting time or something that doesn't involve precision play.
I only see this hurting smns and maybe schs though I haven't experienced this bug myself(or I haven't noticed it). for every other job you should only need 2 crossbars in which case using the option to hold both triggers to access a different set is all you need. if you really want to switch sets you can tap r1 at 3 o-clock in terms of the GCD timer. don't use pet hot bars btw just put pet commands along with your spells on the same crossbar. be sure to enable auto hotbar switching when drawing/sheathing weapons and to check the boxes accordingly. I may have missed something but be sure to exhaust all options before you deem the game unplayable. I also recommend looking up a youtuber named "epic reset gaming" he has crossbar guides that are slightly outdated but extremely helpful.
I play mnk, drg, pld, and war without trouble (and no macros!) with 2 sets and I've never had to actually switch sets since R2+L2/ L2+R2 was added to the game. all of my main attacks are on set 1 (along with anything I tend to forget about like awareness heh) and buffs, jumps, markers, anything defiance related on set 2 which are all easily accessible when holding both triggers.
You can set any Xbar from 1-8 in the Config Window, but you divide it in to "Left" & "Right" for instance, I use Xbar 3 and set the Left Side to L2+R2 and the Right Side to R2+L2.just curious. i played around with this feature to try to work-around the current problem but cannot seem to get something right about it.
does the hotbar that pops up when you hit L2->R2 (or the reverse) need to be in you rotation or can it be hidden until we hit L2/R2 combination?
i currently have 2 hotbars that i use on every job but i was thinking with this feature i could have a 3rd without having to tab through 3 every time.
Papa was a rolling stone...wherever he laid his barbut was home.
thank you for the reply
but in practice i cannot seem to make it work to where you only can toggle between 2 crossbars & have 1 set for the l1/r1 combo...
what i mean is i use 2 crossbars.... i do not do well when i have to use 3 crossbars.
so i would like to use 2 crossbars with whatever skills AND have a different crossbar that i can put random/unused actions that i can then access IF i use the l1/r1 combo.
is there a way to do this?
because the only way i have seen is to have your 2 crossbars... then place skills/actions in a 3rd... then set l1/r1 to register the 3rd, however when you switch between current crossbars, you still 'tab' through all 3.
I wonder if they'll do maintenance later today or will they push kt till next week.
