PS3 Controller Hotbar problems

Below are a couple of comments from Hiroshi Minagawa about the issue being experienced where there is a delay when trying to switch between hotbars with the gamepad.

Yeah, seriously.
Tanks and Healers especially get screwed when they can't switch to other hotbars fast enough to access time critical skills.

Game is broken now for gamepad players.

Good. Glad they're on top of it already. Was a bit of a problem for me while healing coil, but nothing too major.

However, when I switched to DRG it was extremely noticeable and crippling. Needs to be fixed ASAP.

I was having the having the same problem apparently while your doing skills/casting spells you cant swap between bars anymore im not sure if they did it deliberately or if its just a problem from new patch they didn't notice. i doubt they would decide 8 months after the game started to just change up everybody's controls but it was very frustrating i literally had to turn the game off cuz i just was watching my hotbar and clicking 6-7x to swap between them instead of paying attention to fights which is completely ridiculous .

L2+R2 Bar Setting

I've been using that since the feature came out in 2.1. Its extremely helpful for classes that need multiple bars quick (DRG and WAR are the two I use it on the most)

Was tanking Ifrit EX tonight as a WAR (got my bracelets too ), and had no issues at all. R2+L2 to get to my Path/Eye combos and some CDs, R1 or L1 to target something else.

I'm having the same issue as well, on a skill where there is a longer animation my hotbars wont switch and i personally switch my hotbars quite a bit. Please fix this asap SE

I'm able to play just fine with my ps3 gamepad so this isn't affecting all people.

I logged in tried to run a primal and logged back out... This is game breaking for end game content. Please fix soon
