I was excited about our journal. I thought we'd finally be able to hide our quests completely, but we're only able to move the one we want to the top? >_> I hope we can hide them completely in 2.2..
I don't need them tracked on-screen.
You can hide them completely now by going into the UI placement screen and rightclicking the element you want to hide.

You could always do that. It would still be nice to turn individual quests off. I want to see the objectives for leves or dailies, but I really don't need to be reminded what step I'm on in a relic quest 24/7.

Ugh! I agree 100%. In 2.0 early beta, they had it where you can individually track each one separately with a small Track:checkmark box. WTH, what remove it and refuse to give it back to us even now?
This MMO should be like Burger King: I want my MMO MY WAY! Hold the mayo, add extra pickles!
Just 2 days ago, I was doing the Main Storyline quest, I am 37 SMN main job, but was 10 levels behind in the Main Quest, level 24 quests only, and I needed to catch up just in order to open the Primals Quests for my SMN main story quests, but when I rejoined the game last week, I switched to THM to do BLM and caught up to 24 and did the Main Story quests on THM now.
I am a heavy crafter and stopped to get some crafting Leves, and randomly ran by the Lancer's Guild, I am level 7 in that, picked up the Level 5 quest, then all these Leves and especially the Lancer quest was stuck ON TOP OF THE LIST?! NO!! that aboslutely infuriates me, I have NO intentions on doing the Lancer quest anytime soon! I just wanted to grab it and do it 1-2 days later, at my leisure. NO! I do NOT want 6 crafting Leves on top of the list where my Main Storyline and a bunch of quests in a central questing hub were just on top 2 minutes before that!
100s of other MMOs have common sense and can remove tracking individual quests, just give us what we want, not just forcing us to push up 5 quests manually inside the journal.
Heh, you'd think they'd learn from folk and implement it like that in the first place. xD
I haven't logged in yet, but... I thought that's what this patch was? x.x You're saying it's not the ticky boxes for quest tracking? *weeps*
Love everything from this patch except this:
I used to hate healing and not having anyone clicked and end up healing myself a bunch and not notice I wasn't healing the right person till the last moment. Macros made it so we never had to deal with this. Very annoying hope they give us the ability to toggle this on and off. When the /action or /petaction commands are used and a target is not specified, macros will now function in the same way as regular actions.
Example
The macro /action "Fast Blade" can now be used on targets selected with the target circle.
The macro /action "Cure" can now be used to heal oneself even if no target is present.
can someone post a screenie of wet effect? im intrested and wont be home for a few hours! Thanks XD
