When can we get the teleporting spell that the Elezen (sp) uses in the intro video?
It would be nice if we could teleport players in our party to us, to another location or some other teleporting function.

Pretty sure he's sending them 5 years into the future. If we had a spell that could do that, your ilvl would be way outdated after each use.

.... "The Elezen"? Gods above, that's Louisoix you're talking about. The man who single-handedly saved every one of us adventurers from Dalamud. The man who sent each and every one of us off to fight the primals, who had us traipse around the old, bigger Eorzea praying to the symbols of each guardian deity in hopes that they would stop Dalamud from killing us all.
THAT is who "the Elezen" is. It's sad to see such recent history so ignored.
Give me a break, i could not remember his name..... "The Elezen"? Gods above, that's Louisoix you're talking about. The man who single-handedly saved every one of us adventurers from Dalamud. Louisoix used all the power he had left within him to teleport us 5 years in the future after realizing that Bahamut was too powerful to be sealed by the Twelve again and consequently started casting Megaflare. I really don't think we, as simple adventurers, have it in us to sacrifice our lives for a simple teleport.
Anyway, if you want to move someone with you when you use the universal non-class specific teleport, they simply need to be in your party and in the same location. Unfortunately you can't teleport anyone directly to you, but if you tell them an Aetheryte near you they're likely to get to you in ~5 mins.
To be honest i did not know the teleport was some kind of time teleporting spell, as it was never explicitly stated it was time travel.I have finished the main storyline right to the end and have read and (to a lesser extent) listened to all dialogue. But i did not find anywhere, how his teleport somehow saved all 5 of those people (that is all that is seen being teleported) when the Bahamut dragon seemed so immensely powerful as to affect everyone on the world regardless where.Louisoix used all the power he had left within him to teleport us 5 years in the future after realizing that Bahamut was too powerful to be sealed by the Twelve again and consequently started casting Megaflare. But what i was originally requesting, was more robust forms of teleport, including those in my party. For example, i have a buddy with me in a party that i want to assist me with X quest mob/FATE/etc. I use this teleport to bring him directly to me and not an Aetheryte crystal 5 minutes ride away.
The reasoning i had was, if this guy could teleport those 5 guys elsewhere in the world (before you guys stated it was also a time travel) surely we could have that capability at some point too.
Alchemy item: "Summoning item:[Name of player you can be summoned to]"
You could craft said item as Alchemist and they are all stamped to you specifically. You can trade/market/mail them to ppl. Then you just activate it and they click accept or deny to appear at your current location using similar scripting as the raise spell.
As people have said, I don't think it is likely we will get that spell, since it was something that the Twelve lent him. I know it's really REALLY hard to notice, but the moment he casts the teleport spell, you can see Althyk the Keeper's symbol. Althyk is the god of space and time, which is why with this fraction of a second in which the symbol appears, it was made obvious he had taken us in time.
Althyk, the Keeper.

Except i would have had to know who this god was and his function. :PAs people have said, I don't think it is likely we will get that spell, since it was something that the Twelve lent him. I never played 1.0 sorry.
lol ^^ well, you could tell it looks like an hour glass, so one could assume such a thing. But yeah,I don't blame ya for not noticing. Back in 1.0 we really didn't know much about the gods either, other than at near the end, their symbols started appearing in different places.
