I have had all I can take of this non stop lag in-game. This is the only game that gives me any lag at all! I have done the TcpAck frequency fix and called my ISP. Nothing helps and its only getting worse. SE please do something as I am a customer and have done all I can on my end. the lag I get is moments of no response from command inputs and the spikes last for varying amounts of time. It happens WAY TO MUCH!

Like everyone in all the other threads are saying, it's likely not SE. It's how your internet is routed to SE. Change your internet provider.

I was with TWC and had the same thing as you. Called them and had them come out multiple times to 'fix' the issue. They couldn't. Switched to ATT and haven't had 1 bit of lag or lost data packets since. It's how your company routes the traffic to the SE server. That's why stuff like VPNs help a lot of people, it changes how you're routed.

If you don't like it, either stop subscribing or change your internet provider. /shrug

Not everyone has the option to change ISPs. In my area I have only 3 ISP choices: Comcast, AT&T and dial-up.

I currently use Comcast (business class to be more specific). I used to use AT&T but I got tired of being disconnected at random (not to mention their horrible customer service). And dial-up is out of the question for every MMO.

Im not gonna lie i spike here and there but full lag only one time in T4 but it fixed when i loged out lol

Ya people still have lag and it sucks! Ya I'm going to try WTFast and hope it fixes things. I do not want to stop playing as I love this game it's just a shame that it is the only online game I play that has these issues

I died on Stone Vigil last night when final boss flew up due to lagged. It hurt..... a lot.

The trick is to stand on the 'quarter circles' at the corners of the center of the room. If you stand there, you can move out of the way, lag or not.

From what I can see once my connection hits hops for Level3.net (especially the montreal Level3) I get higher ping times and packet loss with high jitter. Only solution for me was to get VPN, for 30 euros I figured I'd give SE the benefit of the doubt when I bought it that it would be resolved within a year. It sucks though because it's not something people should have to do to play the content in this game.

You are saying here that Level3.net is the problem for you, yet in the next sentence you state that SE should be the one fixing it?

Ya I have a hard time justifying paying for an additional service just to play this game. It's unfortunate that it is my last option and looks like there is no other way.
