NM are simply a sort of grind... all the open world content that people ask for can be source of grief and unfair... it's why they have take it out. people see it from FF14 or FF11 optic.. i see it like someone that have seen the worst possible with game like Lineage 2 that was at the start mostly open world content only. some Guild was simply blocking entire area and forbidde the acces to it.
indeed in FF14 no pvp, but it's still possible to overcamp a boss and make it unavailable for most person. more important, people with the best connection will get the loot all the time and it will create what we had in FF14, farming of NM for sell stuff. not because you need it, simply for sell it.
NM is a No-Go totally.
Actually I just quit because all I do is stand in toll and wait on duty finder. Its not worth my cash to log in wait on DF to play.

U putting something in ur mouth that ant supposed to be there. Now that would be priceless.
Well you can try using English but I'll ignore that. This doesn't answer my question either. If the duty finder wasn't in the game, you would just be shouting in Mor Dhona for a party instead. So what would be worth your money?
i love how people ignored i mentioned other things like campaign and besieged. Not to mention this thread main topic also reminded me of conquest from XI. Honest truth about the game and this world is that everything is too linear. Its 50>endgame>BIS/i90 and was you do that your pretty much have zero reason to play. People can say level craft alts other jobs all they want but they know as much as the next person not everyone is a gear/loot whore and not everyone wants to play everything. People want side ways progression something that keeps them from a "Do everything on monday play another game til next content patch" routine. Be you causal or hardcore player or even a Bistist(cause the elites no longer exsist) the plain out fact is this world is just extremely pretty empty shell right now and it needs to change. Not saying it has to happen right this second but yeah if it doesnt the cycle will stay lvlcap>endgame content> BIS/highest ilvl then play another game til new content
I'd be cool with that, but they'd need to rework a lot of quests. Namely, the ones that are like "Travel from here to the opposite side of the continent to get my shoes repaired, because there is literally not a single person who can repair shoes within 100 miles" or "Go buy me a hamburger on the other side of the planet because only one man in the world can cook it the way I like it and it totally won't be cold and stale by the time I get it. Also, I'm totally not on the verge of starving to death because I'm a stuck-up jackass who only eats food that took a week-long journey to deliver."
I'm also in favor of this but to not push the limits, I say only a few should be destroyed first, not all of them. Would still be nice to teleport to a few locations but we don't need an aetheryte on every map. Just imo
I would love for the Aetherytes to disappear on April Fools Day.
