There's nothing interesting happening. We have nothing to discuss.

It's the same topics over and over. There's just...nothing to do. Coil takes less than one hour to clear. Extreme Primals take less than 30 minutes. PVP is an afterthought. Dailies are tedious and pointless once you cap. You wind up spending most of your gil reward just teleporting when doing treasure chests. Housing is laughably unachievable for smaller guilds. And none of it is even halfway interesting or worth discussing.

Man, SE really dropped the ball with this live letter. I thought there was going to be a huge wave of hype for 2.2. We had 20 pages of interesting/important questions, and he chose the most inane, boring ones. A lame 30 second clip on Leviathan? No screenshots of new bosses or loot? No mention of new PVP modes/arenas? Frontlines? New classes down the line?

Anything? Can you give us ANYTHING for us to be excited for?

A lot of you guys were missing my point. It has nothing to do with this game being Hardcore vs Casual. It's about the lack of anything interesting to do (or discuss). I mean, what is there even to discuss about this game that hasn't already been said a billion times? This live letter gave us nothing new to talk about. Hell, there are new Coil turns in 2.2 and they revealed more info about the OLD Coil turns.

SE is simply just dropping the ball on trickling out info to maintain hype for the game. We never get to see patch notes, or test stuff on the PTR or anything. And these live letters are way too far apart.
