What is it bring your pet to work day at SE ? and all the animals go wild and knock down all the servers or did you decide to start the maintenance early and just not tell anyone?

This isn't a forum for reporting to or requesting help from SE by the way... this is meant for user to user support. Read the sticky welcoming you to the forum for the details.

If you want to report direclty to or ask help directly from SE, you should use the feedback or bug reporting section, or otherwise open a ticket at the support portal.

As it were though, looks like this thread was actually started shortly after a notice was posted on the Lodestone (notice timestamp was 11:22AM, thread started at 11:59AM). Looks like SE had a ticket opened on it at 7:10AM PST (about 10:10AM my time I think, or maybe 11:10AM). So they were already looking into it. Note I'm looking at times as reflected in my browser (Eastern).

Anyway, it appears to have been resolved within 2 hours of the notice going up:

Again... this forum is USER TO USER support, so SE doesn't participate much here. As suggested, it is usually better to check the lodestone and/or twitter feeds first if you are having such issues. At the very least, you could have checked the Status forum... it was also posted there at 11:22AM ( http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...-%28Feb.-19%29 ).

For those having trouble see if you're going through level3. Pull up a command prompt and do a traceroute to a FFXIV server. I.E. "tracert 199.91.189.38". If you see you're going through level3.net then you can expect packet loss to the SE servers. put simply, level3 is an internet backbone provider that your ISP uses to get to the SE servers in Canada.

Just checking to verify that the servers are down for all. The status forum states that the issue was resolved, but I'm showing all servers down. Also, I am going through the level3 backbone, but again the status says it should be resolved now. Just looking to hear what others are having issues with. Thanks!
