Seriously though I know there's those of you who are taking a long, hard look at this game and even though what you see is completely erect like an unchanging tower in the face of hurricane-force winds, you think it isn't rigid enough.
The reality is your rigidness is limited only by yourself. Think of yourself as open to many possibilities, and there's a part of you that can become rigid at any time. For instance you may be a gladiator with a lot of damage dealing abilities.. you don't have to equip abilities from every class you have. Let that one part of you rise up and be rigid, and limit yourself to just tanking abilities or just damage dealing. What's so hard about that? Dream big.
For the rest of us, your rigid-loving costs us our freedom. The freedom you are so ready to throw away was given to you by the king of masochism, Tanaka himself. Consider it his parting gift to you. Tanaka went down in the course of giving you this freedom. I enjoy being a Conjurer who can heal, or nuke, or deal massive damage over time, or debuff, or whatever. I can choose how to limit myself by equipping different actions. With a short delay I can be 4 different roles while playing the same class.
Open your hearts a little and don't think with the part of you that can only do one thing: become rigid. Because if you keep doing that, someday you will be the type of gamer who is only good at becoming rigid, and I think there's a word for that.
