Lack of a true support class and enfeebling abilities. As a WHM and RDM in FFXI I enjoyed buffing party members and enfeebling mobs with my MP between cures. I don't appreciate my only other option for my MP going to damage. Especially on something like Holy which is a massive MP hog.
We need more classes so that we can have more interesting and more variety of cross class abilities. And enfeebling class (see above) please? So I can actually USE some INTERESTING cross class abilities on my whm? I mean what besides swiftcast is useful? Physic? Seriously? Virus got nerfed to the point where it's a pain to manage, and even then it's far better on smn/sch. e4e is... okay I guess... but that's like 2 abilities out of... what? 5? 6?
Skillchains! Give us some rewards and incentives to actually work as a team, because good god the community sure seems to need it.
DPS race test phases (Titan's Heart, for example) are set way too high if you want to take 2 whole DPS out of the equation for 2 hybrid classes which you want to implement sometime in the who-knows-when future.
Constant moving in fights (Titan a prime example once again) makes it difficult for mages to do their jobs. Healers need to stand still to cast heals, and black mages need to stand still to cast their big booms. SMNs too though they have a few insta-cast dots and at least SCH gets lustrate as an instant cast so they have a big heal on demand if they have the aether stacks up.
