How to make tanks more fun to play (devs please read)

I said you are not the main character in a single player game. You are putting words in my mouth, that I spoke in text. I'm not sure how you can assert these things when you have very little experience with the game at all.

The only thing I haven't done in the game is Coil. I'm i67. So I don't know how you can assert I have "very little experience". I have more than enough experience to have a valid opinion.

And I don't need to do Coil to comment on the experience of taking a tank from 1 to 50, and then trying to gear it in a world of i80-i90s in all the Duty Finders.

Because you say that these classes have these things and yet you have no personal experience with this, only information you've obtained second and third hand. You make wild assertions about the nature of how the mechanics of the game interact with each other when you haven't even unlocked the classes, let alone the jobs associated with the half the "iconic" abilities you mention. PLD's lead so others can damage and heal, not do everything themselves.

Unless, they mess up- then suddenly the group puts all blame on them.

There's no reason to begrudge him for being self-centric in his playing... I think all players do that. He is right, though.. other jobs DO get cooler iconic abilities. Tank abilities are pretty mediocre and the LB is laaaaame.

Tanks are boring and they wear heavy armor to protect against other player insults/whining/e-peening more than against npc mobs.

Edit: Holy is the best spell in the game, imo... graphic and sound > all other abilities. I love it.
